A free booking app for pickleball coaches
Most independent pickleball coaches still book lessons by text, phone or email, track packages in their head, and get paid by Venmo or cash. That works for five players. It gets messy at twenty.
ProField is a free app built by a working lesson pro (golf, in my case). Your players book your open slots themselves, packs are deducted per lesson, and video feedback stays in one place. It does not handle payments, so it never takes a cut — keep getting paid the way you already do.
What you get
- Self-booking — Open your available hours (including recurring weekly slots and days off) and students pick a time themselves. No more back-and-forth messages to find a slot.
- Group lessons — Give a time slot a capacity for small-group, clinic or academy classes.
- Lesson packs that count themselves — Issue count-based packs (e.g. 10 lessons) or period passes. One lesson is deducted with each booking, and you can see who is running low or about to expire.
- Slow-motion video & photo feedback — Record or upload a lesson clip, slow it down, draw lines, curves and circles, and send it straight to your student’s app. Every note is kept per session.
- Your cancellation rules, enforced — Set your own cancel/reschedule cutoff (for example, the day before). Coaches and students get booking reminders and push notifications.
- Your language, time zone and currency — English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish and Korean, with your own time zone and lesson-fee currency.
Privates, semi-privates and clinics in one calendar
Open single slots for private lessons, or give a slot a capacity for a 4-player clinic or drill session — players book a spot until it is full. Recurring weekly slots mean your regular Saturday morning clinic is set up once.
Lesson packs (say, 5 or 10 lessons) are deducted per booking, so you always know who has lessons left, and players can check their own count without texting you.
Your own players, without a marketplace fee
Lesson marketplaces are useful for finding new players, but they take a percentage of every lesson. For the regulars you already have, ProField gives you the same self-booking and reminders at no cost, and players simply pay you directly.
Video feedback on dinks, drops and serves
Film a third-shot drop or a serve, slow it down, draw on it and send it to the player’s app. Clips are saved with that session’s notes so you can both see progress over a season.
